Ever since I was a small child I’ve had an interest in color, light and sound . Throughout my youth I was inspired and compelled to express myself and my inner spirit through artwork.
As a teenager I integrated the inspiration of music into my creative process.
As a dean’s list student in my 20’s; I recognized that further pursuit of an academic path was becoming increasingly at odds with my health and well-being. So, after a brief hiatus from academia, I transferred into the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.
While at Mass Art I explored the manifestation of my artistic and spiritual vision in the Studio for Interrelated Media. It was during these years in the mid – 1970’s that I became consciously aware of the power of art as a means for healing. My area of interest was in the development of multi-media performance works that enveloped the experiencer
in a blend of color, light, sound and movement with the intention of accessing
higher and more expansive states of consciousness and well-being. At this time,
I began to practice meditation and hatha yoga as a means to maintain my overall ( physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ) health.
After my time at Mass Art I worked as a free-lance photographer, graphic designer and event producer, practicing and teaching hatha
yoga as well. In the mid- 80’s to the mid-90’s I expanded my involvement in yoga
while working as a producer for and as the general manager of the Cambridge
Multicultural Arts Center. Professionally, I taught Hatha yoga full time
beginning in 1994 to present day.
In 1998, I first heard about Holographic Repatterning® ( now known as
Resonance Repatterning™ ~
www.ResonanceRepatterning.net ) from a Hatha yoga colleague who was learning it. I was
immediately intrigued by the use of color, light, sound and movement that is employed to induce healing and well-being.
In 1999 I sponsored the first visits of Holographic Repatterning® practitioners to the Boston area.
During that same year I helped to organize the first seminars for learning how to practice HR in the Boston area. Since then I have hosted numerous visits by teachers of HR
/ RR in the continuing education program that leads to certifiation as an RR
practitioner. I’ve helped to facilitate weekly practice groups and have exchanged a multitude of sessions with my
peers. I’ve taken and retaken the RR Seminars, both with Chloe Faith Wordsworth, who created
RR and the other certified teachers of the Holographic Repatterning® Association
/
Resonance Repatterning Institute.
I have both given and received many RR sessions both from myself and certified practicioners of
RR. This aspect of being a practitioner of RR continues in the present.
In 1999, I began to develop my professional practice by giving RR sessions to many friends, associates and referred clients.
In June of 2002, I became fully certified by the international Holographic Repatterning®
Association as a practitioner.
Since then, I have annually recertified to maintain my full status as a
Resonance Repatterning™ Practitioner.
